About me
My path to coaching has been shaped by a rare blend of life experience—spanning medicine, movement, music, and mindfulness. Raised in a faith-based Bay Area community, my early life was marked by both deep structure and profound loss, instilling in me a lifelong curiosity about resilience, meaning, and human connection.
I began my professional journey in healthcare, spending 15 years as a clinical cardiac technician in high-stress hospital environments. There I witnessed firsthand the toll of trauma, addiction, and chronic illness—developing a calm presence in crisis, but also recognizing the limitations of Western medicine in addressing the deeper layers of human suffering.
Burned out and searching for a new direction, I found myself in a yoga class that would transform my trajectory. That hour on the mat changed everything. What became clear was that the practice of yoga encapsulated so much of the philosophy, intuition, and meaningful action I had been exploring up to that moment. By 2014, I left medicine to teach yoga and co-direct an integrative health center. Over the following years, I led teacher trainings, taught thousands of classes, and offered movement therapy to clients from all walks of life.
When the pandemic closed the center in 2020, I embraced a period of study and reflection—exploring neuroscience, negotiation psychology, music, and language—while reconnecting with simplicity through gardening with my father and long walks in nature.
Today, I bring this wide-ranging background into a unique coaching practice. My work helps people process the past, engage the present, and chart a more conscious, connected future. Whether in session, on the mat, or through music, my approach invites presence, integrity, and compassion—guiding clients toward greater clarity, resilience, and authentic health.
